Yolegmma Marquez Studio portfolio website

Commissioned Portfolio landing page for YM Studio website to showcase 2 collections of light fixtures created by Product Designer Yolegmma Marquez. The goal of the site was to convey a high-end brand with a european feel and a minimalistic aesthetic to atract the ideal customer.

TIMELINE: 4 weeks
ROLE: WEB/UI DESIGNER & NO-CODE BUILDER (DESIGN ENGINEER)
DELIVERABLES: HIGH FIDELITY MOCKUP IN FIGMA AND RESPONSIVE WEBSITE IN WIX
SOFTWARE: WIX, FIGMA, PHOTOSHOP & ILLUSTRATOR

The site tells the story of an aspiring "Triple B" company—a women-owned brand born in Argentina from the mind of top Venezuelan designer: Yolemma Marquez.

Since Triple B brands focus on high social, environmental, and economic standards, the site follows that mission: it starts with the brand’s roots, moves into the two current lighting collections, introduces the designer, and wraps up with her commitment to continue using sustainable materials and protecting the Patagonian Forest with specific reforestation events.

The 2 collections are introduced in a section with backgrounds that convey their source of inspiration. The Mediterranean Sea is the backdrop for the "Mediterra" collection, and the Argentinean Patagonian Forest frames the "Southern Forest" collection.

Each section has a call to action to download the brochure of products. This was a specific request based on how sales are handled by the company, with personal text messaging directly with the designer.

The final product is a mix of high-end imagery proportioned by the designer herself, which made the design process extremely inspiring. The combination of images with slow-moving videos gave the design an airy, minimalistic, and elegant feel that aligned perfectly with the brand values.

Some Reflexions

This was an inspiring project that offered a unique opportunity to showcase the work of a notable Venezuelan industrial designer.

I also loved handling both the design and the no-code build, since it gave me full control over the final result, cut out the usual back-and-forth of QA, eliminated the need for dev hand-off annotations, and removed the time needed to design for each breakpoint, which made the move from design to launch way faster.

Future development recommendations included:

  • E-commerce Integration: Using the site as a gateway to a storefront for product purchases.

  • Localization: Implementing a splash page for country and language selection (not feasible with the current Wix plan and due to technical constraints).

  • Phased Rollout: Focusing on a single market for the first iteration before expanding globally.
